Partnering with Parents and Schools for Student Success.

Ann Bozek-Davis

I dedicated 25 years of my career to serving as a Special Education Teacher at Broughton High School. In 2022, I stepped away from education to spend more time with my family and pursue personal interests. However, during this time away, I realized just how deeply I missed working with students and partnering with their families.

I earned my Master’s in Special Education from North Carolina State University in 2003 and later completed a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Appalachian State University in 2019. In 2015, I was humbled to be named the Wake County Exceptional Children's Teacher of the Year, an honor that affirmed my passion and dedication to the field.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless students, families, and fellow educators. I’ve seen firsthand the emotional toll that academic struggles can take on students and their parents—especially when their needs are misunderstood. My greatest strength as an educator has been building strong, trusting relationships. I’m proud that many students saw me as their advocate and safe space, and I was equally honored that families trusted me to be their voice and partner. I consistently offered compassion, honesty, and unwavering support to the parents and children I served.

Now, I’m thrilled to launch this next chapter with Bozek Exceptional Children Consulting. I look forward to continuing my mission of advocating for and supporting students who are truly exceptional.
