Partnering with Parents and Schools for Student Success.
Ann Bozek-Davis
I worked as a Special Education Teacher at Broughton High School for 25 years. In 2022, I retired from education to spend more time with my family and explore other interests. However, during my break, I realized how much I missed working with students and their families.
I earned my Master's in Special Education from North Carolina State University in 2003, and in 2019, I received my Master's in Educational Leadership from Appalachian State University. In 2015, I was honored to receive the Wake County Exceptional Children's Teacher of the Year Award.
I have worked with numerous students, families, and teachers throughout my career. As an educator, I have witnessed the pain that struggling students and their parents go through. Unfortunately, these students are often misunderstood by well-meaning adults who need help understanding their unique learning needs. I am proud of my relationships with my students and honored that they chose me as their go-to person. Throughout my career, families saw me as an advocate for their children. I readily made myself available to my parents and always promised them my compassion, integrity, and truth.
I am so excited to begin this new chapter of Bozek Exceptional Children Consulting, and I look forward to supporting students who truly are exceptional!
